MAKE COLLEGE PARK A GREAT PLACE TO AGE

• Create tax incentives to keep seniors and long-time residents in District 3.
• Develop ways to reduce rising energy costs for those on fixed incomes.

GROWTH AND TRAFFIC

• Complete Rt. 1 Master Plan implementation to have a more efficient thoroughfare in the city.
• Fight for the creation of Metro’s Purple Line to reduce east-west traffic.
• Work to have the UMD Shuttle service available for all city residents.

RESPONSIBLE ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT

• Attract family friendly and small businesses to Route 1.
• Implement strong environmental standards on new development.
• Involve all stakeholders - the University of Maryland, the business community and residents to create public-private partnerships that attract and support development inclusive of small and minority businesses.
